Cooling methods and differences of industrial chillers


The refrigeration principle of cold water direct freezing in the electroplating (oxidation) industry is that the water at the bottom of the cooling tower is pumped to the condenser of the chiller to cool the condenser, and then flows back to the cooling tower for spraying. When it goes down, it is cooled by the fan on the top of the cooling tower and flows back to the bottom of the cooling tower. At the same time as the condenser dissipates heat, the refrigerant inside liquefies and flows into the evaporator for evaporation. During evaporation, heat is absorbed, which cools the sulfuric acid (tank solution) in the refrigerator. The cooled sulfuric acid is then transported to the electroplating (oxidation) tank through a water pump, which is a cycle of direct freezing in industrial chillers. Fast cooling speed.
The refrigeration principle of cold water indirect freezing in the injection molding and electroplating (oxidation) industries is that the water in the bottom basin of the cooling tower is pumped to the condenser of the chiller to cool the condenser. When it flows back into the cooling tower and sprays downwards, the water is cooled by the fan on the top of the cooling tower, and then flows back to the bottom basin of the cooling tower, and so on. At the same time as the condenser dissipates heat, the refrigerant inside liquefies and flows into the evaporator for evaporation. During evaporation, heat is absorbed, which cools the water in the water tank. The cooled water is then pumped to the heat exchanger (separated by water and sulfuric acid), where the sulfuric acid is cooled through the process of heat transfer. This is a cyclic process. The advantage of this product is that it is easy to install, has a relatively longer service life than direct freezing, and is not easily corroded by acid and alkali. But the cooling speed is not as fast as direct freezing.
As can be seen from the above, direct cooling is slightly better than indirect cooling in terms of cooling speed for industrial chillers. However, it is obvious that direct cooling chillers are not as safe as indirect cooling chillers, and the former equipment is prone to corrosion and has a shorter lifespan compared to the latter. However, when comparing the service life of the two, indirect refrigeration chillers are several times longer than direct refrigeration chillers, which can be used to calculate the value of indirect refrigeration chillers.
