The chiller unit (chiller, freezer, constant temperature circulating gas, etc.) consists of four main components: compressor, evaporator, condenser, and expansion valve, which determine the main performance of the chiller unit. But today we are not going to discuss these four main parts, but another factor that affects the performance of the chiller unit - operating conditions.
What is working condition, literally understood, is the working condition, which is the working state of the equipment under conditions directly related to its operation. In this state, temperature conditions are the most important, and these temperature conditions are the working conditions or the usage conditions of the chiller. So, what are the operating conditions that affect the chiller unit?
The matching of refrigeration components (mainly compressors, evaporators, condensers, expansion valves) determines the stability and reliability of the performance of the chiller unit. At the same time, changes in refrigerant type, evaporation temperature, and condensation temperature are also important factors determining the stability of chiller performance.
Among these three factors, temperature condition is the most important, which is the working condition of the chiller unit, and the operation of the equipment is directly related to it.
The operating conditions of chiller units can also be further divided into three categories:
① According to the actual operating conditions of the chiller unit, it is classified as the operating conditions.
② According to the object, it can be divided into refrigeration compressor operating conditions, evaporator operating conditions, and condenser operating conditions.
③ There is another special working condition, which is the design working condition. The biggest difference between it and actual operating conditions is that it is not the actual operating condition, but the design conditions selected based on theoretical requirements and compatibility. It is more stringent than the operating conditions, but it also tries to comply with the operating conditions as much as possible. It is theoretically standard and operates under the working conditions of inspecting or testing the chiller, so it is also called the test condition. The experimental conditions should be as consistent as possible with the operating conditions or more stringent than the operating conditions, in order to facilitate relatively stable actual performance.
In the actual operation of the chiller unit, most of the nominal operating conditions do not match the actual operating conditions, so the performance and working capacity of the chiller unit are not consistent with the rated ones, and even far apart.
When choosing a chiller, everyone should consider it according to their actual equipment situation.
